Christmas gift collection in favor of Stockholm City Mission
Running from November 22 to December 20!
For the sixth year in a row, Hasselbacken collects Christmas gifts for the benefit of Stockholm City Mission! A much appreciated tradition for both visitors and employees. This initiative helps families with children who are struggling to make ends meet, and people experiencing homelessness, to have a warmer and more joyful Christmas.
Stockholms Stadsmission organizes a Christmas gift shop where parents can choose gifts for their children, making Christmas a bright spot for many families with children. There are also activities for the homeless, such as BoKlara and BoCenter, where collected gifts create security and support.
For children and young people, the following is requested:
- Gift cards (e.g. Lager 157, Normal, Stadium, Rituals, H&M)
- Dolls, cars, larger legos, and craft kits
- Headphones, powerbanks and speakers
- Large stuffed animals and doctor kits
For adults experiencing homelessness through BoKlara and BoCenter:
- Gift vouchers for places to eat or for clothes and toiletries
- Movie tickets, prepaid cards, powerbanks and headphones
- Hats, mittens, long johns, and assorted toiletries
