General terms and conditions

Below you can read our general terms and conditions. The terms and conditions apply to all bookings with us regardless of how the booking is made. The terms and conditions also apply to bookings made through a third-party channel.

Arrival and departure

Check-in for booked hotel rooms takes place from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out is no later than 11:00 on the day of departure.

For security reasons, all guests over 18 years of age must present a valid ID. The hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation if valid identification is not provided.

Liability in case of damage

You as a guest or the guarantor of the room are also responsible for any damage caused by negligence or irresponsible behavior. In the event of damage to hotel rooms and other areas, the hotel will demand compensation and charge the guest/guarantor for the cost of the damage.

Luggage & valuables

All hotel rooms have a safe. We also have a public luggage room where luggage can be stored on the day of arrival and departure. For security reasons, the hotel is not able to store high-value items or items that could endanger guests or staff. The hotel is also not strictly responsible for the items stored in hotel rooms, luggage rooms or other areas. We advise you never to leave luggage or valuables unattended in public areas.

Payment

For your safety and ours, we are a cashless hotel. When paying by card, we accept payment from most credit card companies and you can of course also pay with our own gift cards sold through our website; Gift cards.

Pets

Dogs are allowed in all public areas of the hotel and your dog or cat is welcome to stay with us in some of our room categories for an additional cleaning fee of 300 SEK/room. A maximum of two pets are allowed per hotel room, and in the unfortunate event of damage caused by the pet, you will be charged the cost of this.

Parking

The easiest way to get to and from our hotels, restaurants and our arena Cirkus is by public transport. Both the Djurgården ferry line 82, tram line 7 and bus line 67 stop nearby. If you take the tram or bus, you get off at Skansen and if you take the boat, you get off at Allmänna Gränd. More information and travel planners are available on SL's website sl.se. The hotels do not have their own parking. Public parking is available, for rates see the respective parking area.

Rules for minors

Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Smoking

We are a non-smoking hotel and smoking is not allowed indoors, at the hotel entrances or at our outdoor seating areas. All hotel rooms are also non-smoking. The smoking ban also includes the windows of the hotel room and any balconies. Violation of the smoking ban is charged with SEK 3,000.

Security and safety

For your safety and the safety of others, always familiarize yourself with emergency exits, alarm buttons and fire extinguishers. Also read the instructions on the door of your hotel room.  

Accessible rooms

Hasselbacken has two accessible Classic hotel rooms.

Accessible or wheelchair accessible rooms are best booked by contacting our reception on 08-12 13 33 00. The following adaptations are available;

- Adjustable beds for back and leg height

- Alarm in bathroom

- Vibrating alarm that is placed under the pillow and warns in case the fire alarm sounds

- Cane holders mounted on hotel reception desks

- Accessible toilets in public spaces

- Elevators up to the hotel rooms that are at least 800mm wide at the opening

- Disabled parking - one in the outdoor parking lot and two in the garage located under the hotel (with elevator directly to the building)

- Spacious hotel entrances with sensor-controlled sliding doors

- Separate allergy station at the breakfast buffet. Lactose and gluten-free options are available at the breakfast buffet.

- Guide dogs are very welcome

Dispute resolution‍

The parties should try to resolve any dispute concerning the interpretation or application of the agreement on their own. If the parties are unable to reach an agreement, the dispute can be reviewed by Visita's liability board, the industry's complaints board, Visita's liability board.
