At Hasselbacken, food, music and celebration are always in focus. Our historic restaurant on Djurgården offers classic dishes with a modern touch.

Dating back to the 1760s, Hasselbacken has established itself as one of Stockholm's top restaurants. Over the years, the late Gustavian building has undergone a chequered history of fires and distinguished visitors. This is also where the Hasselbacken potato was created in 1953 by a student chef at the restaurant school at the time. Today, you can still order the delicious potato dish in our menu.
