A true classic in Stockholm restaurant history

Dating back to the 1760s, Hasselbacken has established itself as one of Stockholm's top restaurants. Over the years, the late Gustavian building has undergone a chequered history of fires and distinguished visitors. This is also where the Hasselbacken potato was created in 1953 by a student chef at the then restaurant school. Today, you can still order the delicious potato dish in our menu.
